Jules - Botanic Gardens

Jules pointing his index finger to his little mouth and go..."ooo" looking at the boy.
and he turns around, following the boy...but his index finger still at the same position.

 my mum and Jules
i wonder why they both smile with their lips pursed.

Jules - Hubs reading to him

sunday evening.
hubs reading a nursery rhyme book to Jules on the sofa.
i thought this looks almost picturesque to me.

my son has only a few seconds of attention and soon he starts to frown. I think he believes that nursery rhyme can be quite disbelieving, especially when hubs goes "...the dish ran away with the spoon!"

you might think how come the dish and the spoon can run.
and even if they do run, how is it that it's not the fork and spoon that ran away together???
Jules trying to move away...looks behind the couch for a more interesting read.
Hubs pulls Jules down and starts to point to his flabby knees.
Hubs: LOOK son, this is what happens when you don't exercise - flabby knees.
Jules looks at his knees too.
Jules biting his index finger and thinking: Hmm....exercise?
Hubs tells Jules: Tmw we send you to the gym ok?
Jules pulling a long face: LEMME GO!!! i don't want to go to no gym.
Jules pushing hubs: HOW CAN YOU SAY that i have FLABBY KNEES!!!! I'm still a baby!!!!
Jules: I still love you daddy. hugs.

Jules - Playing in his cot at the Family Area

Jules has been sleeping on our bed with us every night and over the weekends when he has his naps, we lay a quilt on the floor in the living area for him to sleep/nap so that we can watch him while we are in the living, dining or kitchen.

so we decided that it was time to move the cot downstairs so that he can play and sleep in it over the weekends in the day time.

The good thing about this ikea cot is that not only it can lower the base to allow for an older baby but one of the sides can be removed such that when the child comes of age, he can climb in and out of the cot by himself as and when he likes, with supervision of course as Jules is still very young.

we have also added a bumper playmat at the mouth of the cot in case he should fall. One can never be too careful even though we have our eyes on him all the time. But you can never know....things happen in the strangest ways you can never fathom.

Jules - Fiddling with daddy's wallet

My son Jules loves to grab his daddy's wallet and pulls out all the discount cards and coupons.
Makes a whole mess on the floor. Once he has created a pile of mess, feels happy and contented, he moves to his treasure chest - crate full of toys.

my 2 boys. very concentrated on their own stuff. i think they even have the same expression.
Jules is still fiddling with hubs' discount cards
Hubs is sewing a leather bag for me.

After awhile, Jules makes an attempt to hide his prized discount cards under the sofa. He reminds me of my dog frosty who loves to hide his biscuits in the sofa.
