Staycation - Day 2 at Marina Bay Sands

Monday.
I took leave today to spend some time with the kids at Marina Bay Sands. The boys totally enjoyed themselves here. Jumping on the bed, bathing in the bath-tub and playing with toothbrushes. Watched cable tv like Disney Channel, cartoon network.

Breakfast was early as we didn't want to queue too long. The boys ate really little. But truly at the age of 4-5, they probably ate 1 small tub of yoghurt, 1 madeline cake, 1 hot chocolate and they proclaimed that they are very very full.

and they rushed us to finish our breakfast quickly so that they can go back to the hotel and watch more telly.
Afternoon came and we decided that it was enough tv for the day and brought them up to the pool for some splashing good time. The pool photos was taken in my GoPro...link here

after the swim, we showered the kids and left them to munch on some snacks on the sofa bed whilst watching tv. We had a good solid 2 hours of peace time. Even Jade didn't come and bother us that much.

5pm. YAY! it's free flow of drinks! My favourite kind of staycation.

Today we had chilli crab, beef pastries and char siew!
plenty of champagne to go around... and on my plate, I had some ham and shell clams.
We ate till we were so full that we decided to leave early so that other people could have a table.
back at the hotel, our last night here...we just lazed around until we decided to pack our luggage as tomorrow we will be checking out.
Supper - Hubs opened and cooked a cup of instant noodles.
Jade is super interested in it and wants to have a bite.

time flies. Although we only went to the pool today. I felt that it was good enough for me. Time spent with children goes really fast and then you realised that you didn't have much "me" time at all. And it's back to work tomorrow.

if money grew on trees. :P

Staycation - Marina Bay Sands Swimming Pool!

it's a long weekend holiday here in Singapore and we are having a staycation at Marina Bay Sands with our 3 children during this June School holidays. The boys have been so bored at home and been complaining that there isn't much things to do at home. So this is a good break for them and for our ears from all that complaining.

The weather has been pretty good, didn't rain and it's not too sunny. Slightly overcast skies and so the photos here are not as bright as they should be, but that doesn't spoil our moods!

Staycation - Day 1 at Marina Bay Sands

Sunday.
It's a long weekend over here in Singapore. We managed to get 2 free nights at Marina Bay Sands from Hubs' auntie and we are on a taxi now...all set for our short staycation! The boys are very excited with this short stayover and they have been talking about it for nights.
welcome hamper when we arrived.
The boys happily munching on the macarons
Jade was happily jumping up and down the bed.
a shot of my 3 children. This is one of our the many shots I took that was successful.
my MIL feeding jade with I'm not sure what. I used to keep a hawk eye on what Jules was eating, then when it came to James, I was a wee bit more lenient...now that it's Jade, I don't really worry too much as long as she doesn't have a tummyache.
the boys brought their toy cars to play when they are in the room. As we are preparing to go out for our tea time, Jade is fumbling through my sling bag. Although she's only 1 year old, but she already has a fondness for bags.

Up at Club55, the kids are waiting for their table and looking at the spectacular view of Marina bay
me and Jade, snuggling up to me...it's almost time for her nap and she's a bit grouchy.
there's quite a wide variety of finger food plus open bar....unlimited free flow of drinks from 5pm to 7pm. I had too many drinks but thankfully still able to sling Jade back to the hotel room.
i had 5 glasses of champagne, 1 whisky dry, lots of cod fish, foie gras and karage chicken.

ooo... i really do love champagne cos it's so sparkly and sweet! hubs is having a beer....
the boys had their apple juice and they ate some spicy chips and a few mouthful of cod fish and they were full. Jade had half a breadstick and fell asleep.
I had my whisky and hubs had his gin & tonic.

bubbly champagne...and a bubbly faced jules

my parents popped by to see their grandchildren.
the boys enjoying themselves on the sofa, watching cable tv.
i managed to get a nice shot of my parents with the 3 kids. The boys' pjs all nicely laid out on the sofa as they are marching to the bathroom right after this picture was taken.

...
rite, will post more photos later.
