East Coast Park | Mexican Theme Food Camp

Hello hello!

It's the March School holidays again and because it is a short 1 week break for the children, we didn't plan any overseas trip. Today we will be camping at our beautiful East Coast Park for 1 night. The weather was perfect for a camp! Bright and sunny, abit too sunny perhaps. But the skies are very blue and pretty,

As usual, both Jules and James will help their daddy with the setting up of the tarp and tent. Jade is already resting on her chair under the shade.

The boys went to the beach to play without changing into their swimsuits! OMG.

Hubs taught the kids how to play Big Two. The boys didn't want their daddy to win...making so much noises.
The weather is sooo nice! windy at times and the kids after a few games of poker cards, went back to stroll on the beach,
YAY! it is Lunch time and we having chicken burritos!

And I didn't know that Corona is from Mexico! Was planning on Margaritas but it is quite an effort to prepare at a campsite, then Hubs was telling me that Corona is Mexican! HAH!

So the camp routine goes, beach, eat, rest and repeat.

Jade was so fascinated with the large leaves that she picked up most of them. It was like she was doing community work.
Tea time - toasted burrito wraps with chunky salsa and cheese dip. Wah, this one the kids love it.
Then we have Tacos with minced beef!

Dinner was Mexican wings! And we ended with a movie night.

8am: Jules and me, woke up to take our shadow wefie. Both James and Jade are still sleeping.

5D4N Royal Caribbean | Penang Phuket | Day 4

Day 4. Making our way back to Singapore. Breakfast at Windjammer.

After breakfast, the kids wanted to visit the indoor playground where is it also known as Adventure Ocean. It was a small area and suitable for children under 6. Jules and James both felt too big for the little area and wanted to leave. However Jade (6yo), Clarus (7yo) and Julius (5yo) all wanted to stay and play!!!

Fortunately my BIL volunteered to babysit them and so Hubs and I brought the boys out to iFLY. My parents went round walking the cruise and my SIL wanted to go back to her room to wash her hair.
Price for iFLY is $40 USD. Boys all changed for their flying experience. But before they go and fly, they have to watch a safety video and demonstration.

12noon: Lunch at the Dining Room. Today the crew went giving chocolate strawberries around!! We have prawns, lasagna and for dessert floating island - a large meringue.

4pm: We went to watch a magic show by Zlwin Chew.
After magic show, the kids all wanted to play bumper cars and after bumper cars, we popped in next door for some arcade games and then we went back to our rooms to rest and found a hanging monkey!

7pm: Bought ourselves a drink at the Bionic Bar $4USD for lime coke. I wanted to try and see how this machine does my drink! and it was pretty fun to watch it move around and getting the shots from the colourful bottles above.
8pm: final rounds at the bumper car...the kids' favourite activity here on Royal Caribbean.
There were some Santa Elves moving around the ship but they didn't give out any candies...
Hubs say Jade is a F1 driver!
9pm: After bumper car, we went to Schooner Bar for some drinks (punch, strawberry lemonade and Heineken) and card game, but hubs became an overnight magician and wowed the kids with his card tricks.

my kids, super impressed with their dad's magic tricks.
Above: Home and look at the amount of snacks we bought in Phuket!

Verdict: We had a really fun time on the Royal Carribean!
