Hong Kong Day 5

Last day in HK....sob sob. Holidays always seem so short and never enough. This morning's breakfast was going to be at Central. Going for my tomato base instant noodles. It's an old Da Pai Dang 大排档, just opposite Kau Kee Brisket. Always crowded with tourists and locals. Have you tried 咸柠七?Salted lemon 7-up. It's quite a popular drink here and it quenches thirst on a hot summer afternoon. It's hubs' favourite drink whenever he visits here.

And we walked further to try the Lobster Central...bought takeaway from Yat Lok Restaurant. Prices are not cheap either but this is very much to satisfy hubs' craving for roasted goose. And they really do it very well. For takeaways, it's pretty fast, but if you are dining in, you will need to queue.

And on the roads of Central, there were more freebies again!!! This time we had Greek yoghurt!

Back in the hotel where we showered and fed Jade, hubs having his short break and watching telly with Jade fiddling with her new toy. Thank goodness I brought her fabric toy book to keep her occupied for awhile.
Some stuff which we bought along the way....forgot to mention that this morning we went to Kwun Tong plaza to shop too...didn't get anything except some rubber shoelaces for the boys.

Missha Line Friend shower foam bottles are too cute to resist so I bought them....plus Doraemon shower foam too.

Have you tried these Yogurt Jellies yet? They are quite yummy!!! Think you can easily get them from snack shops and Bonjour. Jelly block candies are also sold at Sasa.

Some of my buys at Sasa. Bought 2 dresses for Jade too.

Hong Kong Day 4

I saw this poster on Mcdonald's breakfast and i was very interested to try it! It's a bagel muffin. But I didn't find the time to try it...Today I'm having a "chinese" mouth and wanted to eat Dim Sum again. The one where we ate at Yum Cha, I didn't have my usual Har Gao, Siew Mai or Feng Jiao...so this time I must have them before I leave hong kong tomorrow.

After Dim sum, we went back to Flower Market to do some last minute shopping and rested our feet at Kam Wah Cafe for milk tea and a Bo Luo Bao.

above: My haul from Flower Market. More swim suit for Jade, 2 pairs of jeans, 2 dresses and 1 top for myself. 2 pirated Lego sets called Lepin for the boys. Got a black top for my mother too. Hope it fits her.
Back on Ladies Market, there were some freebies and the queue went really fast so we went along! Got ourselves 2 cans of free Schweppes Milky Soda and Tim Tams.
For lunch, i had my wonton noodles. Jade is zzz again.

Back onto the road and bought a cup of chilled Hasma Mango Jelly drink from Hui Lau Shan. They are everywhere in HK but the one in Singapore didn't survive.

Walked for awhile at Kowloon Garden with Jade before we reached Avenue of the Stars. Took some photos for keepsake and proof of Jade being in HK. Doing all the touristy stuff.

Dinner at Big Don. Had the biggest bowl of Chirashi Don i ever had! Price wise, it's on the high side. But it's more of an experience and it's a been-there-done-that kinda thing for us. It's always long queue in the evenings. Very popular with the locals.
