Yes peeps! I have cut off my mane too and sporting a short bob.
Lately I have been dropping hair due to post natal delivery syndrome and I'm going to start work soon, which means that i will have no time to magic sweep my floor. So with a short crop means easier maintenance, faster hair drying time, less shampoo-ing and conditioning and the most important of all - my floor will look cleaner with lesser hair on the floor as one long strand of hair on the floor looks like many short strands of hair put together!
