Swimming Day at Marina Bay Sands
Hello!!
This is the last fun day of our March School Holidays. Earlier this week, we brought the kids to Gardens by the Bay to see life size dinosaurs, then we brought them out to the Singapore River Safari to see the Pandas and now we are checking into Marina Bay Sands for the night!
The weather is awesomely HOT! So the pool water will be warm for the kids to take a dip in. The whole Singapore CBD skyline could be seen crystal clear from the pool edge. Jules was enjoying himself so much in the pool whereas scarey cat James couldn't bear to let go of hubs to join in the fun.
I wanted to go into the pool but Jade was crying so much...I'm not sure whether was it the lift that made her cranky or is it the hot sun!? Sadness...in the end I didn't get to take photos of myself with Jade here...
The swimming pool is located on the 57th storey and is only opened to guests...and the lifts that goes up here moves at a pretty fast speed. So much that your ears will be under pressure and goes pop! So every time when we get into the lift, I cringed a little because Jade looks teary eyes after the lift stops at high floors.
Photos were all taken by our GoPro. Some shots looks like a fish eye lens...hahaha. But we really love our GoPro since we love taking the kids to the pool and this little camera can do all the wonders underwater. Can't wait to take more water photos when we bring our kids to Tioman in April...so stay tuned for more water bomb photos!!! haha.
For the rest of the photos, will have to wait a little cos I haven't found the time to download my mobile pix....but it was a really eventful weekend for all Singaporeans! There was the carnival and Art-Zoo at The Float@Marina Bay and Children's Festival at Gardens By the Bay...light shows by the Marina Bay and Pasar Bella was there too...so there's much food, beer and merry making the whole night!

Jade // Hello Kitty Romper
one of hubs' cousin who had a baby girl has outgrown her baby rompers and has generously donated to us! And one of the pre-loved rompers which we had inherited in this cute purple Hello Kitty romper from FOX baby.
i love pre-loved items because firstly it's already worn and softened by the previous baby or babies, secondly i guess we all need to do our part in recycling whatever we can, especially babies clothes since they outgrow them so fast.
here are some reality shots of baby Jade with her brother Jules who is always out to photo bomb my pictures.

Jules who insisted in squeezing onto the mat and being part of the picture.
above: now Jade doesn't even want to look at the camera but gurgles to her brother.
finally i caught miss drool's attention
March Holidays - River Safari
It's the 1 week March School Holidays again and we are bringing the kids to River Safari to see the pandas!
We were very fortunate that we managed to see both pandas - JiaJia and KaiKai and got to eat at the Panda Cafe too...had my Giant Panda Cappuccino and ordered 2 panda baos for the boys to try.
We managed to get discounted tickets from Qoo10 the day before. It was pretty easy, just had to print the e-ticket and exchanged it for tickets at the ticket booth. We reached Singapore River Safari slightly before 11am, after we got all 3 kids washed up, changed and packed their bags. The carpark was already so full!!!
My guess that besides tourists, there are probably many parents who are bringing their kids out for a daytrip here too since it's the school holidays. I'm totally enjoying my maternity leave here...bringing the boys out and being a local tourist. This time round I'm really enjoying my maternity leave every single bit because the boys are older and bigger, makes it really easy to bring them out and to spend more quality time with them.
And we are off on the River Safari Cruise! The sound system was really bad, couldn't hear the introduction and explanations on the riverside animals. On the cruise, we managed to catch some storks, giraffes and rhinoceros!

above: James having ezcema on his right cheek. It has been like this for 1 month now. Poor baby.
The Panda's home was so cooling!! Totally air-conditioned. Makes me want to stay there longer.
we caught both pandas eating and moving around their habitats.
Lunch at the Panda Cafe...food prices were on the high side because it's still a tourist attraction. So we ordered dim sums for everyone to share. The boys enjoyed their fried wontons. I like my panda cappuccino. The Panda baos had 2 different fillings which you can choose from - chocolate custard or red bean paste. We ordered both baos in the red bean paste.
Hubs working...24/7 literally.

End of day capture: zzz.
stay tuned for my next post where we brought our kids to Marina Bay Sands for a nightover!
