Christmas Presents 2019

Our usual practice is to spread out the christmas present opening into several days after Christmas. This is to set a pace such that the kids don't take presents for granted and always remember that Christmas is not just about presents.

Plus it makes their attention span longer. If they opened up all their presents at one go, then they will play one toy for a few seconds and turn to another toy next.

This year Jules has gotten the concept of Christmas giving right. He actually used his pocket money which he saved up to buy an eraser for James from his school bookshop. And for his daddy and little sister, he made a christmas card each for them.

This year, I'm into online shopping and I bought a wooden coffee machine for the kids! It's safe for little kids to play and makes pretend play interesting. The kids now can set up a cafe, taking orders and making coffee. Hmm...now they lack a wooden cake set. hahaha.
