5D4N March Holidays to Penang! - Day 3

This morning we are planning to visit Penang hill and to hop onto a funicular tram ride which the kids have yet to have a chance to sit on one before.

The map showed attractions that was free for the public and those that required a fee entrance. Although the weather was hot and on a weekday, there were still many people going up Penang Hill. I was expecting the weather up there to be slightly cooler and boy was I wrong!

Thanks to Penang folks who made way for the children so that all of us could sit together.
reminds me of Hongkong Victoria Peak!
This is the view once you reached to the top and exit out of the Funicular Tram.

it's very sunny here! Remember to put on your sunblock!

the weather was really too hot to sightsee much, the kids wanted very much to go back to the hotel to rest and to jump into the pool. So we decided to give the Kek Lo Si Temple a miss, the famous curry noodles and butterfly park.

the kids made all the decisions nowadays... plus I really didn't want to drag 3 unhappy and hot children around while we sight see.
back at the hotel, the children all geared up for the pools!

Dinner made easy at one of the eateries along Batu Ferringhi.
