One Pot Dish | mille feuille nabe

 

hey hey! Another instagram recipe I saw online and thought it looked pretty easy to make...and guess what? the kids like this one pot dish! And it was pretty easy to whip up too. The ingredients are really super easy - napa cabbages, sukiyaki pork slices or beef slices, alternate layer them together and then you cut them out to the height of your skillet or cast iron pot. I started from outside in, layering the skillet as I go. And when I ran out of napa cabbages with meat slices, the centre portion was filled with beansprouts or you can use enoki or shimeiji mushrooms. Then top it up with a packet of soft tofu. Poured the sauce (5 cups of dashi, 1 tbsp soy sauce, pinch of salt) over and cover, simmer and ta-duh!
