Staycation - Marina Bay Sands (First Half of a very long Day)

We had a buffet breakfast at RISE. They served our kids bamboo recycleable utensils which was very adorable in animal prints. Jules and James had matching sets of zebra in blue. Jade had a pinkish purple hippopotamus.

Above: Jade at the breakfast table. We fed her 1 bun and some cheese sticks. Yup that was all and she was quite full already. Which is why kids under the age of 5 dines for free.

Both Jules and James are eating their sushi leftovers from last night. Yes! last night.
They didn't eat much from the breakfast buffet either. If I recalled correctly, they had a croissant each, 1 Meiji yoghurt cup, some cheese sticks and that's probably it.
I was a happy camper!!! I had a generous serving of smoked salmon which is my all-time-favourite, scrambled eggs, sauteed mushrooms, a few carvings of ham, siew mai (2) and asparagus.

back in the room, we let the kids wind down a little by watching some telly.

About lunch time, we took the MRT down to Suntec and let the boys played at the playground and James fell down. Had a deep cut under his chin and was bleeding profusely. One parent was kind enough to offer his plaster to us so we went to the washroom to clean James up and put a plaster on his cut. We continued to let the boys played for a little while more before we went to Watsons to buy some more plasters.

What a day.
above: the playground at Suntec where James tripped and cut his chin. The edges of the playground flooring has a berm (like a little ramp up) which caused James to trip due to the difference in levels.

We decided to cheer James up and bought him a froyo to share with his brother.
