hubs says his legs are so skinny!! i think so too, but that's all the milk i have in me!!! and we also fed him formula milk when my milk is not enough to satisfy him.

I guess most mothers just couldn't get enough of their first newborn. So bear with me for all these repetitive photos of different angles of my son!!!

Jules #40 - My in-laws are here for a visit

A grandmother recalling her old days when she was looking after her 2 sons...so we listened.

Everyone is hovering around the newborn once he starts to open his eyes!!!

See how much attention he is getting. Grandfather was actually showing us his eastern europe photos on the tv when suddenly Jules opened his eyes...even Grandfather turned to look at Jules and whipped out his handphone to snap photos!

Jules #39 - Nite Nite!

 Today Jules is 10 days old and he's wearing a 'beep' romper!

Currently I'm reading the book " The Contented Little Baby" by Gina Ford and it recommended for a night light by the cot to give the baby a sense of security and identification if he awakes in the night. And it also recommended a dimmer to adjust the lighting. Other advantages of having a night light which is to aid you to check whether his diaper is dirty in the middle of the night and you don't have to go switching on the other lights in the room.

Thus we have invested ourselves a little crescent night light from IKEA and bought a dimmer switch to go along with it.

Jules #38 - Sound asleep little one

Jules has not gotten himself into a routine yet..usually the number of hours he sleeps goes by the number of mls of milk that he has drunk. For example, if he has drunk about 40ml, he will most prob wake in 4 hours, 50mls then he will wake in 5 hours or earlier...

so we try to give him about 50mls now of breastmilk and if he refuses to sleep then we will top it up with about 30mls of formula milk.

Confinement lady says he usually wakes up at 1am, 3am and 6am for his night feeds, occassionally he wakes up every hour but doesn't want any milk and his diaper is not dirty either. So i guess he just wants to be cuddled to sleep. Naughty little fella!
