I think hubs made a really pretty tulip for me!

Jade got Covid

Today is the actual annual Ballet concert which Jade has been practicing for months and many full dress rehearsal. All participants had to take their ART test prior to attending the concert and the morning when Jade took her ART kit at home, hubs told me that she has two red lines. I got a shock.

We were quite certain she had gotten Covid at one of the full dress rehearsal because we all tested ART negative ourselves after seeing Jade's ART kit.

We also wanted to be socially responsible and so we kept Jade at home. It was quite a painful decision for us because of all the hard work that little Jade had put into this ballet concert, tears and many tired afternoons. Money paid for the extra classes, her ballet performance dress and 5 tickets to her ballet concert. We even bought a bouquet of flowers for her, it was hidden somewhere so that we could surprise her before her performance.

I asked Hubs whether should we go to the Concert, but hubs say that Jade wouldn't be performing, so there wasn't any point in attending it.
