Staycation at D'Resort

 

After our 1st stay at D'Resort, using our SAFRA member, it was quite a success! And so we managed to booked another night stay and this time, we bought our BBQ meat from Donki instead of ordering online. And we brought shitake and king oyster mushrooms ourselves for the BBQ as we had leftovers in our fridge. Separately we bought a quarter of a watermelon from NTUC. So it's really very convenient here in terms of amenities.

after the kids had their fruits and dessert, we let them have some fun playing with sparklers!

it was a wonderful night to get away from our messy home...currently filled with carton boxes and so much more to pack! *stress*

Staycation at Capri Hotel

JUNE HOLIDAYS ARE HERE!

Hello June! we are half way through year 2023. This June holidays, we are trying out a hotel at the east side of Singapore and it is super close to a shopping mall! - Changi City Point which has many outlet malls and restaurants. Here's where we bought crocs for the whole family and I bought some sportswear from the Nike Outlet store.

Birthday Staycation at D'Resort

Hello!

Now that hubs is a SAFRA member, we have decided to try staying at D'Resort for Jules early birthday celebration and of course to celebrate my daddy's birthday as well.

D'Resort is so popular that it is almost impossible to get a 2 nights weekend stayover! So tough that we decided to get a Friday night and check out on Saturday morning. So Friday it is and we picked the kids up from school at 2pm, dropped their school bags home, changed and off we went to pick their grandparents up and zoomed straight to D'Resort.

Ordered BBQ food from Hungry BBQ, they dropped off our meat in a styrofoam box outside our room door. So it was fuss free! And yes, they do delivery to D'Resort!!!

Their BBQ wings and satay were very good, but their satay sauce was too watery.

D'Resort is super convenient if you don't wish to BBQ, yes...hot weather, lots of work, getting the fire started and standing there doing all the BBQ work. You can opt to go to the shopping mall for dinner. And there was a Donki shop there too! So I bought more Yakiniku and Japanese Lychee liquor to drink while hubs and I BBQ.
