Surabaya | 4D3N Goodbye

 

It was a wonderful experience and stay at Baobab Safari Resort. I truly enjoyed Breakfast with Giraffes. The Prigen zoo was so huge that we didn't cover all grounds like the water theme park. But it was ok for us since the resort has its own pool and we managed to get a lazy morning just by the pool and there were hardly anyone using it. My guess is that most people had gone to visit the Zoo.

Lunch at the airport. We had mee bakso, the usual local noodles here.

Flight was delayed for more than 4 hours so we had a free meal. But the waiting at the airport was seriously boring since it was a small airport, there was literally no shops to visit.

Breakfast at the hotel. Folks who stay here gets up really early! Do get down early if you want seats by the pool.

There are several animals which you can get to pet and take photos with. For starts, there's the parrot that talks and says "hello!" Both Jules and James had a go at having the parrot perched on their arm.

Next to parrot, there is the friendly huskie!

There's also the crocodile!!

There's also meerkat feeding for a small fee.

There are also hippos, rhinoceros and large birds on the grounds.

After morning's meet and greet session with the Savannah animals, we went swimming!

That afternoon was spent lazing at the pool. Was so nice.

After the late morning swim, we had a late lunch.

Do bring some cards or games to play if you are planning to stay here for more than 2 days!
