Our visit to Van Gogh: The Immersive Experience

The Van Gogh Immersive Experience is here in Singapore, Resort World Sentosa!
Ticket Prices
Adult: $33
Children (4yr -12 yr) : $22

Stepping into the world of Van Gogh. The 1st passage way had several of Van Gogh paintings that moves like his eyes, hat and smoking pipe. Quite a mysterious feel. You will be greeeted by a huge Van Gogh Sunflower at the beginning of your journey. Let's go!

I love the many sunflower paintings of Van Gogh, and his attempts at capturing the life of a sunflower. I also had some insight into his personal life with his brother, sister and his soul mate Gaugin. It is very educational for both adults and children, I could only say there is fun for everyone if you look into the right places.

There's an area that describes how Van Gogh was influenced by the Japanese prints.
My children enjoyed the sundeck chairs in the Immersive room. It was like picnic in a park but with many moving arts and air-conditioning. Super nice!

Staycation \\ Check out and off to Sea Aquarium

Today's breakfast is chinese style. Check out is 11am, so we didn't have a morning swim, had our breakfast slowly and packed up. And because we booked a 2pm slot to enter SEA Aquarium, we decided to bring our stuff back home to unpack, have a decent lunch and come back again.
There was a queue forming to collect free snacks for the children. And if you are wondering what is the free snack, it is a packet of popcorn.
We were glad that it wasn't very crowded and so we are able to take some photos of the fishes without having to squeeze with other people. But there are some displays which require us to queue just to view the jellyfish upfront.

Above: this changing light jellyfish are one of the few displays which required queueing up.

And I was surprise that if the pandemic, the discovery pool is open! What a great way to end the trip to let our children touch sea cucumbers and starfish. They were very excited and happy! Sensory and tactile discovery is also something that intrigues the little minds.
Thank you SEA Aquarium for a wonderful journey. We will be back!!
