Lovely weekend Saturday. I made breakfast for everyone. Late afternoon, we brought our kids downstairs to our neighbourhood park connector for cycling and scooting.

My quick breakfast hacks - rolling mini sausages with frozen prata, top wash with egg and sesame seeds. 20 mins and I get hot piping sausage rolls for the kids!

DIY Birthday card for porpor

 

 No school today because it is Teacher's Day!

Happy Teacher's Day to all the wonderful teachers. A job that requires love and patience.

I took leave today because the September School Holidays begins now! And today before departing for Desaru, we had a hearty breakfast and the kids did up a birthday card for porpor, whose birthday is this coming Wednesday.

Jules did the brown envelope, James did the spots on the envelope and Jade did most of the quilling.

Quick breakfast - baked beans, butterhead lettuce with vinaigrette, scramble eggs and bacon on toast.

Dinner - Pork Hock Bak Kut teh and sambal kang kong.

Now that it is back to office everyday, there is so little meal times to spend with my children. Weekends are the only times where I can cook for the children. And breakfast is one of them!

Today for breakfast, I made sunny side ups, smoked sausages (air fry, pan fry), spinach and plain toast.

Happy Sundays at my MIL

 

Lately, many of our weekend breakfasts have hashbrowns. That is because my MIL gave me one whole box of them!!! Fortunately the kids love them air fried and with baked beans.

Like any Sundays, breakfasts first, grandparents next. Swim, lunch and all play or watch telly together with their cousins.

Then late afternoon, it is time to go home.
