5 Star Hong Kong Style handmade dim sum

Recently there are posts on IG for this dim sum located in Bishan area and hidden in a industrial building. The dim sum are freshly handmade, I'm not sure whether does the review includes all, but mainly the cheong fun is freshly made and the skin is thin. The prices are also affordable.

Their one serving of porridge is also huge! Great for sharing and it tastes really good too. Definitely will come back if we are in the area and craving for dim sum.

Dim Sum at Swee Choon

Swee Choon is a well known affordable dim sum eatery around our area. So we decided to give it a try. There is another dim sum which is located a few blocks down, perhaps next time we shall give it a try too. Anyway, today we are visiting Swee Choon. I've always seen their advertisements online, so I know that they do online food delivery. When we reached there, it was already quite crowded! Crowded with both local and tourists. Indonesian chinese to be exact.

First dish that came was Noodles in fried shallot oil with a small bowl of seaweed soup.

We ordered a few dishes since it is just us and Jade today. So phoenix legs for me! Har Gao for Jade, fried mee sua (signature dish and must try), hot spicy wontons, fried fritters and I tried their milk tea too.

and they gave me a free shopping bag! Nice, super handy now that my NTUC charges 10 cents for plastic bags.

Por Por Dim Sum Lunch

The day before Por Por turns 70!!! We had a dim sum lunch with Por Por at Taste Paradise ION. As we arrived quite early, we went to the bathroom first and ION's toilets are lovely for a wefie together. But turns out that I'm not so good at taking wefie, even with 3 shots, I couldn't take one that has three of us smiling and full frontal face. lol.

My mummy with the kids. James was sulking in the first group photo. Both Jade and Jules smiles obligingly. Awesome service to Taste Paradise! They even prepared birthday bouquet balloons for mummy! Looked so beautiful and gold. I think my mum was very happy and pleasantly surprised!

James happily posed for a photo of himself with the piggy pig.

i think i ordered too much for 2 ladies and 3 kids.

after dim sum, my mummy wanted to treat us to coffee and sweets.

Mummy bought another cup of ice cream for Jules.
