Day 6 Lombok - Goodbye and Hello Singapore !

time flies so fast and we are back in SG.

Day 5 Lombok - Kuta Beach

breakfast at Pearl Trawangan. I must say their breakfast is done up really nicely and set prettily as well. It's not the usual buffet breakfast style but you choose one main from the menu. The list is pretty good enough for me... they have muesli, pancakes, sandwiches and eggs. All breakfast set comes with fruit bowl, a juice and coffee or tea.

after breakfast, we brought the boys back to the hotel room to rest while we pack our luggage as we are leaving Gili islands.

Goodbye Gili islands and we took the boat back to Lombok. From Lombok, we drove all the way down to the airport area where we stayed one night at Novotel Kuta. Kuta beach in lombok is also known as the pebble beach! The sand is not the fine sort of grains but small small pebbles! Really adorable.

Day 4 Lombok - Off to Gili Islands and we stayed overnite at Gili Trawangan

 Rented a boat to bring us to Gili Trawangan where we checked in and changed into our bathing suits.

Pearl of Trawangan Resort. Check in time was 2pm and they were so strict about it. We arrived early at 12noon and had to meet the rest of our friends for day snorkeling in a glass bottom boat. I had 2 luggages, 1 baby, 1 toddler plus their luggages and they wanted me to change out at the open air lobby!!! I was quite pissed.  The lobby was like a bubble tea booth - small and open on all sides.

WE really didn't have a choice but to open up all our suitcases at the open lobby, packed my bathing suits and head to their changing rooms to change. Afterwhich hubs took his turn to change while i looked after the boys. Next we got to dig out our boys towels, bathsuits, sunblock and packed into another bag for the day trips, plus search and packed their snacks. It was so difficult to do that in the lobby with the kids running around.

By lunchtime, james was so exhausted that he fell asleep...while Jules and me shared a coconut together. It was very hot and sunny in Gili...we went island hopping.

Dinner at scallywags where they screwed up. they forgot our order and we waited like half an hour. Bad service and there was no service recovery at all! Everyone at our table almost ate finish then our dinner came. Tsk Tsk.

Day 3 Lombok - Wedding Dinner@Lombok Raya Hotel

The Wedding Night
We left for Sheraton Hotel and checked into Lombok Raya Hotel where tonight's wedding dinner is going to be held. It was a grand wedding and the couple had 1200 guests, so it was a buffet style and standing dinner. Jules enjoyed the music and danced around. James just sat on my lap and ate whatever his dad fed him.

There was magic shows, dances and lucky draw. And photo booths as well as door gifts.
