East Coast Park | Mexican Theme Food Camp

Hello hello!

It's the March School holidays again and because it is a short 1 week break for the children, we didn't plan any overseas trip. Today we will be camping at our beautiful East Coast Park for 1 night. The weather was perfect for a camp! Bright and sunny, abit too sunny perhaps. But the skies are very blue and pretty,

As usual, both Jules and James will help their daddy with the setting up of the tarp and tent. Jade is already resting on her chair under the shade.

The boys went to the beach to play without changing into their swimsuits! OMG.

Hubs taught the kids how to play Big Two. The boys didn't want their daddy to win...making so much noises.
The weather is sooo nice! windy at times and the kids after a few games of poker cards, went back to stroll on the beach,
YAY! it is Lunch time and we having chicken burritos!

And I didn't know that Corona is from Mexico! Was planning on Margaritas but it is quite an effort to prepare at a campsite, then Hubs was telling me that Corona is Mexican! HAH!

So the camp routine goes, beach, eat, rest and repeat.

Jade was so fascinated with the large leaves that she picked up most of them. It was like she was doing community work.
Tea time - toasted burrito wraps with chunky salsa and cheese dip. Wah, this one the kids love it.
Then we have Tacos with minced beef!

Dinner was Mexican wings! And we ended with a movie night.

8am: Jules and me, woke up to take our shadow wefie. Both James and Jade are still sleeping.

Camping Trip #2 | Korean Pancake Tteokbokki Eomukguk and more!

What is a Korean theme food camp without soju? Hah! we bought 3 bottles of soju with us complete with little ceramic cups. The kids were so hungry from setting up the tarp and tent. Hence, it is no wonder that the seafood pancake were snapped up in a hurry that I didn't have many photos of it.

After our Korean seafood pancake, hubs and Jules started on our Tteokbokki with fish cake. Looks super yummy!
