Jade - Another Ordinary Day

it's a sunday today and Jade is spotting a really feminine romper with lace peter pan collar from H&M. Her denim bloomer shorts are from Seed Heritage where I bought it during a sale. She's looking very fair in white and skin looking like it's just made with collagen and nothing but collagen...MUMMY IS SO ENVIOUS!!!

Weekend we went Vivocity and Seed was having a sale. I've always like their baby stuff but I find them a way bit pricey. And you know how babies tend to overgrow their clothes at such a fast rate, so I always thought it didn't make much sense to overly spend on Jade's clothings no matter how pretty they get.

however now that they are having a sale and on top of sale items there's a further reduction of 30%! So here's my haul to share with everyone.

Here's another newborn set of baby rompers which belonged to Jade which she has outgrown too!

Just want to take some photos of it before I store it away....it's a set of 7 pieces labelled from Monday to Sunday. Was a gift from her Godma who asked someone in UK to buy from Marks and Spencer. Her Godma dotes on her so much that she has also purchased another 7 piece set for 3-6months old from M&S.

Some of Jade's rompers are getting a little tight for her...super love this series of white, pink and grey. So sad to see her outgrowing them. We bought this 5 piece set of rompers from Bangkok at a very affordable price. But happy at the same time that our dear Jade is growing well! and out with the old and in with new clothes!!!

time to renew her wardrobe.

one of hubs' cousin who had a baby girl has outgrown her baby rompers and has generously donated to us! And one of the pre-loved rompers which we had inherited in this cute purple Hello Kitty romper from FOX baby.

i love pre-loved items because firstly it's already worn and softened by the previous baby or babies, secondly i guess we all need to do our part in recycling whatever we can, especially babies clothes since they outgrow them so fast.

Jade - Passport photo

We are thinking of going for a short family getaway during the Lunar New Year and intending to bring baby Jade along too! However being the latest addition to the family, it also means that she doesn't have a passport. So we got to apply for her one before we can plan for a trip. We tried to take a photo of her against a white background wall and realised that it's too difficult as her neck was so soft and her head was wobbling all around the place. Technically we will need someone to hold her head while taking the photo upright...which is not possible. I think it's too difficult to photoshop the fingers holding her head away.

Next alternative was to lie her on a white piece of paper...which we tried but guess what? She keeps moving her head left and right. Goodness. it was not an easy feat!

 above: photo looks straight alright but how come only one ear is visible? Better take again.

She's decked in her Carter's grey polka dot romper with a small pink ribbon on the front.
Super cute! I really love this romper a lot!

above: finally a straight photo...but where are her ears??? Her cheeks are so swollen with baby fat that we can't see the ears at all! Should we submit this photo for her passport?

Jade's godma specially asked a colleague to buy back these really cute Mondy to Sunday baby rompers for Jade from Marks and Spencer.
