Making Castle from Diaper Boxes
My sketch on how to do a cardboard castle from diaper boxes. The kids were very excited about this mini hands on project. So first we have a big diaper box, 3 kitchen towel rolls and some craft paper.
I slit open the diaper box and started to cut the triangles out at the top, door and windows. Once it is done, I let the kids have a go at painting it.
Tadah! By afternoon, the kids have a cardboard castle to play with. Unfortunately, it is too small for the boys and it ended as a castle for their stuff toys!!!
The kids start to paint their kitchen towel rolls. These are going to the towers.

using a bowl to draw circles on red craft paper, I made the paper cones for the tower.

Mid Autumn Festival | Lantern Festival
Lantern festival is around the corner and we have received a newsletter from the kindy to make our very own lantern. Jules helped to staple the paper plates together while hubs went out to spray paint it red.
While their dad is spraying the paper plates, the kids are enjoying their packet of ground peanuts
