Breakfast dined in. Collection from the concierge. Hubs says that it is relatively easy to order and collect. You will have a choice of either Western or Chinese for breakfast. As you can see from here, we ordered 2 sets of breakfast with coffee and juice.
After breakfast, it was time for swimming! Anyway Universal studios doesn't open too early as there are crowd control management and our staggered timing to go in was after lunch.
See my boys having crazy ideas of blowing air into their swimsuits to create a float! James looks like he has a neck donut float!
Even hubs joined in the fun....
2pm: time to head into Universal studios! We tried almost all of the rides as the queues there were pretty quick and not many people around.
First ride was the madagascar boat ride which Jade was abit hesitant when queueing as she didn't know what she was into. But after the ride, she told me that she was ok. Next up was the Enchanted Dragon ride, OMG, i didn't know it was a roller coaster ride!!! Both me and Jade were so shocked. When Jade came out from the ride, her eyes were teary....I think she had a fright. Poor little dear...i felt so bad for her.
Above: Jules sits right in front of the dragon roller coaster. He says it was the best ride he enjoyed in USS and he sat twice.
After the dragon ride, there was a puss-in-boots ride which Jade said she was ok because she sat in between myself and Jules. So she felt "secured".
Next Up Rapids Adventure, this one Jade said she didn't want to ride and so the both of us waited outside while the boys went in with hubs. The wait was pretty long, I think both Jade and myself waited about 45mins outside...and of course we snacked a little cos we were to tired and hungry.
Into Jurassic world, there was another flying in the air ride which the queue was too long, so we took this "baby" dinosaur ride which Jade exclaimed it as her favourite! But most of the time, both her hands were grabbing the bar tightly and she told me to operate the button to go up and down, she wouldn't let go of the bar handle.
hah! Have you tried this vintage car ride? This is a first for us...it was secluded in one corner and we almost missed it.
After the bumble bee 4D ride, again Jade and I sat outside waiting. The kids were treated to some snacks and we were "transported" to the streets of New York.
There was an elmo in the dark ride? That one was pretty colourful and Jade liked it as well. Finally we went into one of the bigger shops for some airconditioning relief. We sat by the roadside as we were actually quite tired by now...and hubs went to get ice-cream for all of us.
Our 2nd round around USS, this time we walked really fast. It started to drizzle a little so we sat the indoor Merry Go Round and of course, Jules went on his favourite dragon roller coaster.
Our only photograph with the mascot and we had to abide to the social distancing measures. We were told to stand 1m infront of the mascot.
Dinner we took away some beef noodles from LeNu which was very good! and they had 20% discount for takeaways...there was quite a crowd outside waiting for their food too. And no guesses, someone bought a new toy from the shops, here's introducing abby cadabby to our family. She is a 4 year old, fairy in training.
