Sushi on Wheels

Our first time trying out sushi on Jules train set. And it was a hit with the kids. I had the children wash their little plastic play plates. That alone, searching for their plates took about 20mins, hah! Yes the kids have so many toys in a box that makes it difficult to search for things quickly.

Jules went about to set up the train tracks first. And throughout our sushi dinner, he was the one with the controls, delivering the sushi right to the door step of James and Jade. Jules was quite good at controling the speed too! Sometimes when we complain that our sushi delivery is too slow, he will make the trains go faster....hahahah

Setting up the train track

The train track took the entire length of the dining table! Took Jules a few tries to get the length right and got the trains to start moving. We blue-tac the plastic plates onto the train as they don't balance too well on their own. Can't imagine if the sushi were on top! I'm quite sure when the train turns round the bend, the sushi and plates will all start falling. The children were quite imaginative...as I start to plan the sushi plating, saucers, chopsticks on the dining table, there was a large portion of the dining table not being utilised, and guess what? The children brought their animals to the table!!! And now we have a mini zoo.
