We just celebrated Jade's Full Moon Party or sometimes I get a little mixed up and calls it Full Month Party. But we all know it means the same thing right?
I just want to thank everyone who came down to Jade's party because it means so much to me. Being a mother of 2 initially, I've already felt that time spent with my 2 children is very little. And it takes lots of effort and scheduling to bring my 2 sons to anywhere possible on time, given that James eats like a snail and so, to prepare him for an outing is like me having to do way advance time planning and management.
THANK YOU so much to all who came and spent time with us! especially those who brought their kids down to play and having to baby sit their children and yet finding time to talk to me and asking after me.
thank you so much and i feel really blessed and loved.
xoxo

JADE // Full Moon Party Photos
Jade is still shy of 4 days before she turns one month old. My MIL says that full moon party must be held before she turns 1 month old and we can't do it after. So here's the latest weekend to hold her a party before she turns one month. I wanted to keep the party small and manageable, so I only invited about 30 guests or so, including relatives, close friends and colleagues.
i want to thank everyone who came to Jade's party as it was held on a Sunday evening and it's a working day the next day. And also want to thank everyone who brought presents and gifts to share our joy on this special day.
If any of my readers who wants contacts as to where I purchased my party items, you can email me at butterpaperstudio@gmail.com or you can leave me a message on my tagboard and i will try my best to reply as soon as possible.
So that's all folks!
enjoy the rest of the photos.
xoxo

JADE // Full Moon Party in Pink
SPRING IS IN THE AIR!
For Jade's Full Moon party, I decided to just go with a simple PINK theme. Not overly pink to the top, but the whole decor has touches of white, silver and gold to diffuse the overall pink hues.
I didn't want it too pink, so for the balloon bouquets which I ordered online, I had the balloon bouquet in pink, baby pink, white and a metallic pink star at the top.
For the popcorn, I managed to find strawberry flavoured pink popcorns and I had them in pink polka dot cupcake holders.
From the supermarket, I bought pink and white marshmellows, strawberry polky sticks, strawberry flavoured wafer rolls and 4 litres of pink guava juice.
From Daiso, i bought pink polka dot paper cups and paper plates for the dessert table.
I ordered mini red velvet cupcakes with pink cream cheese, a red velvet cake which wasn't pink at all but I DIY a small mini pink bunting with a "J" topper for the cake. Last but not least, the last thing which i ordered online was the macarons. I had them in strawberry flavoured which was delicious!
Some things besides the cake topper which I DIY, i did the background flower peonies...looks more like a bull eye's though...hahah... cupcake toppers with floral paper from The Paper Market and I printed the dessert table food tags. Party packs were sourced from Spotlight with candies from the supermarket of course. Ribbons were from Daiso, one of my favourite one-stop-all shop.
Simply sweet and pink.
