Happy Lunar New Year!!! I'm so excited about holidays!!! Especially the lunar new year where everyone can gather and have so many reunion lunch and dinner. A time for goodies, a time for chit-chats and all things merry.
This year our reunion lunch was at Orchid Country Club Ban Heng. They were short of staff as they couldn't keep up with our requests of filling up our tea pot, getting green chillies for our noodles, they even didn't get our number of plates/cutlery right. So service wasn't top-notch and really needs improvement.
Steam sea bass! Lovely. We also had their suckling pig, braised dried oysters with spinach and baby abalone, XO chilli broccoli with prawns and lou hei.
After our reunion lunch, my FIL suggested for all the little ones to have a go at bowling! All the children enjoyed it very much, though probably the 1st 20 mins or so...then Clarus and Julius went off to look at some hornet's nest. Even little Jade at the age of 6 didn't really enjoy it as the bowling ball was too heavy for her. So only Jules and James enjoyed the game.
