It is the start of the September School Holidays!!!
This short 1 week holiday, we are bringing the kids to Fairmont Singapore for a 3D2N staycation. Set in a city precinct, our plans are quite simple - swimming in the pool, being tourist for a day and international meals wherever we can find ourselves at.
Check in time was 3pm, so we had our lunch at Raffles City Din Tai Fung for some Chinese cuisine. I love their beef noodles soup here. The kids always had egg fried rice and hubs love their spicy wontons.
Check in at 3pm. Lobby is so crowded with people!
We managed to check in after 45mins. Our balcony cum window view was towards the Raffles Hotel. And occasionally I can smell Old Chang Kee and some other indian cuisine? and I think I even smell Soup Restaurant! But nonetheless, we love our window view and glad to have a balcony to dry the kids' swim suits after pool activities.
We love Fairmont Hotel! We are allowed to bring Jade's little flamingo float to the pools. There is a kiddy pool and a lap pool. The kiddy pool was quite crowded so we went to the lap pool for a swim and dip. But it was terribly cold as it doesn't get the afternoon sun.
Photo below. Jade with her new flamingo float (bought from Lazada Redmart) and new swimsuit from Zara kids.
Waters are so chilly!
After about 1 hour in the pool, we decided to head back to our rooms to wash up and get ready for dinner. We are bringing Jules for some Japanese Cuisine, a treat for him as he did pretty well for his recent assessment.
Tried to get a family portrait in the lift since all of us are in matching outfits. Can't see right from this photo above? Well, hubs and the boys are wearing blue stripey shirts while Jade and myself are wearing Uniqlo Marimekko print dress in blue.Had to queue for approx 1 hour before we managed to get into the restaurant.
Good night everyone!
