The boys were famished.
above: self check-in. As we are not frequent travellers, this self check-in, print your own itinerary got hubs a teeny bit irritated because we had to manage our baggage, scan our passports, key in reference number and at the same time eye-ball our children. So if there was a counter staff to help us it would have made things so much faster and better.
below: Finally we made it on board Jetstar and the boys were so excited!!! Needless to say, we too were equally excited about our up and coming holiday in Danang!
The flight took about 2 hours and 40mins. Danang was 1 hour behind Singapore time. We grabbed a car from the airport to our hotel. Cab ride was $140k.
above: me and hubs wanting to take a photo of ourselves but Jules photo-bombed us. While waiting for the reception to check us in, we were served our welcome drinks. And there were so many koreans around!!! And many of the signage were in Korean too...my bet that Danang is a very popular destination for Koreans?
We checked into room 1503. and the boys were so excited to find that they have their own bunk beds! They ran around, chasing one after another. Jules were so elated that he exclaimed that we have our own kitchen, sink, fridge etc....and we had to calm the boys down and coaxed them out of the room to have our dinner...or rather it was supper time.Just 1 minute walk down from our hotel was this seafood restaurant called Be Man where they served a great variety of seafood! We came here 2 nights in a row as it was really quite fresh and affordable.
For the first night, we had oyster porridge, 1 kgs of clams, 0.5kgs of BBQ prawns, 1 coconut and 1 local vietnamese beer call LARUE. Total bill came up to $376k (approx $23 SGD)
