7D7N Khao Yai | Bangkok - Saraburi Sunflower field

 

Morning everyone from Bangkok!!! OMG we are finally here in the land of smiles, not everyone is smiling cos we woke up really early and slept quite late like 1am. hahah...so we landed in Bangkok yesterday about 12 midnight, got through customs, got our luggage and walked out and immediately we could see a huge orange sign that spells Amari. That was our airport hotel for the night. And we checked out this morning at about 7am.

Breakfast was at the airport, McDonalds where we bought a family meal. 

8am: we went to collect our rental car from Hertz. Paperwork took almost an hour. Finally 9am, we left the airport and are on our way to Khao Yai!

First stop is to see the sunflowers. I'm not expecting much since many reviews have said that the season for seeing sunflowers is end Nov to Jan, so fingers cross!!!

From BKK airport to Khao Yai Saraburi takes about 3 hours and google map is quite accurate!!

12noon: OMG and the sunflowers are in bloom!!! 

And the weather was awesome, sunny bright and blue skies.

so bright, happy and YELLOW!
