7D7N Khao Yai | Bangkok - Birder's Lodge and PB Valley

After visiting the Sunflower fields, we made our way to Birder's Lodge which is a popular cafe in Khao Yai. On weekends, there is a Farmer's market (green wall pitch house) where you can buy organic local produce. There's ample parking here and free for visitors.

We ordered the Spaghetti Seafood (300 Baht), Crispy Truffle Focaccia (180 Baht), Garlic Fried Calamari (230 Baht), Pizza Carnivore (430 Baht), 1 Cafe Latte Ice (120 Baht) and 1 Cafe Latte Hot (10 Baht)

After our lunch, we bought the kids each a scoop of ice cream! 

Kids on holidays are always so happy when they get sweet treats!

At the Farmer's Market here, we have some time to spare before heading down to PB Valley for some wine tasting. We bought mushroom chips (35 baht), corn milk (100 baht for 3 bottles) and a bunch of grapes (200 baht).

330pm: Reached PB valley and bought our tickets. We did our reservation online for the wine tour and wine tasting. We have a good half hour before our guided tour starts, fortunately the estate has large grounds with a playground for kids to play and run around.

4pm: Guided tour. PB valley estate has the largest vineyard in Khao Yai. This tour is scheduled 4 times daily at 930am, 11am, 130pm and 3pm.

Adults: 350 baht.

Children aged 12 and under: 300 Baht. (Children will be given fresh grape juice instead of wine)

Children under 4 years: Free of charge.

Seedless Maroon originally from Australia are grown all year around at the estate!

Part of the guided tour includes a wine tasting - PB Khao Yai Reserve Rose, Sawasdee Shiraz and Sauvignon Blanc. They also serve some plain crackers and cheese by the side during our wine tasting.
