Breakfast. Packed our luggage, the boys went out to catch grasshoppers and we checked out.
Here's my thoughts on One of A kind Bintan.
- The drive from Ferry terminal is very far, at least an hour drive. If you are already located so far, you should at least provide transfer for guests from Ferry terminal to your resort.
- There is not much food options out here, only their restaurants which is Azura and Oceanhouse.
- Swimming Pool should have bath towels for guests to use.
- There is no cable tv in the room. Sigh. There is practically nothing to watch for both adults and children. Hotel/Resort could have at least provided a Smart TV if there is no cable channels to choose from. Fortunately we brought board games to play with the children.
- The card access. If one card can open both doors on 1st storey and 2nd storey would be great. But this is not the case. So must always remember which card is for which floor and always remember to bring your card along.
- My master room door frame is spoilt, so we had difficulty in closing our door every time.
- The 2 bicycles which they provided were also faulty. Brakes couldn't work and Jules fell down. But I suppose this is not a game changer.
- OMG, my hot water kettle was very dirty, even after boiling water for 2 times, there was black grime coming out from the kettle when I pour the water into the sink. Because of this, I couldn't eat my cup noodles.
What I liked about the place:
- Nice double sinks for master room.
- Nice heated and automatic toilet water closet.
- Each villa has its own swimming pool.
- Master balcony glass floor and my view that overlooks a field of lalang. It was quite scenic.
