Our 2nd day at Furama City Centre. Breakfast buffet here is acceptable, hot stations are available. There are scramble eggs, bacon (weird looking), sausages, baked beans and sunny side up freshly cooked. There's porridge too but super bland, coffee or tea you have to queue for it too. Apple and orange juices are from a small take-away cup.
After the morning rain, we went to the pool for a dip cos we really didn't like spending time in our room. Decided to explore the nearby mall - Chinatown Point for lunch.
Lunch at Hoshino Coffee and kids meals include a packet of tidbit and a toy! But I must warn you all first, the kids portion is small.
After lunch, we walked back to the hotel to rest our feet and get ready to our included indoor play at Waka Waka. Before we made our move, the recep called i.e. the duty manager, he received hubs' complaint letter last night and offered their service recovery to upgrade our rooms. However we were going out now for our indoor play and if we leave any later, the kids' play time will be reduced. Hubs at first rejected the duty manager because it was really a toll to repack our luggage and shift rooms with 3 kids, however the duty manager was persuading hubs otherwise, and so hubs told him that we are acceptable to change our rooms if the room offered is clean.
ok, enough talk, let's quickly move to Waka Waka if not we will be late!
After 1h 45mins play at Waka Waka, we went back to the recep at 2nd storey and told them that we were ready to move into our new room. From 8th storey, we were upgraded to 18th floor. And it was a huge room with separate kitchen and mini living room where the kids could watch their own tv programmes but since there was no cable tv, they were so bored. They couldn't watch Nickelodoen or cartoon network. This time round, hubs managed to book a table for us at 630pm, we managed to eat dinner on time. Look at our seafood platter! It is tiered!
No complains on the food. Like I said before the other night. Dinner at Tiffany is good.
