March Holidays to Penang! - Hard Rock Hotel Swimming Pool

We had an awesome time at Hard Rock Hotel Penang. No regrets! 

The swimming pool area was huge with its iconic "sandy beach" theme pool and awesome colourful play slides (3 numbers for your info!) for the kids. The sandy pool had an area for both kids and adults to play pool basketball, lounge area, pool bar. And I noticed that some of the suites on the ground floor had direct access to the pool!

There were 3 coloured slides at the children's pool, depth of 90cm. So it was pretty comfortable for Jules (6 yo), James (5yo) and little Jade (2 yo) with her floating vest. The spiral slide was definitely one of the more exciting ones because of its height, but it doesn't really slide very fast. What happens is that there is a very long safety landing at the end of the slide and more often, the kids were left sitting there and having to push their butts off the slide and into the pool.

There was even one father at the end of the slide acting like a traffic police, signalling to the kids at the top of the slide when they could slide down, after the kid gets off the slide. So hmm, too safety perhaps? Much better if the slide could just let the kid slide off rather left hanging at the end yah?
