The late afternoon was spent at the man-made lagoon pool with our children.
After the boys had some swim and paddle boating in the lagoon, they went to make sandcastles.

after showering the kids, we are all ready for our mangrove firefly tour!
The mangrove firefly tour was very educational! we were told about how firefly's lifespan is about 3 weeks. How to differentiate between male and female fireflies...and the tour guide also caught a few fireflies in a plastic cup for us to see and of course they were let out into the wild after everyone had a personal close up look. The kids even had their chance of catching fireflies!
The beginning of the tour was in a sampan like motor boat where our boys were very afraid because it was so jerky. Jules was asking whether are there any crocodiles in the murky waters. It was pitch black and we could see so many stars in the sky!
Occassionally there were whiffs of funky smell. I overhead one of the mother telling her daughter " this is nature's smells..." - LOL
The tour ended about 8pm and we were all famished. Settled our dinner at the restaurant again and they had a movie screening! Quite an enjoyable experience even though we are back here twice in a day to eat.
tucked the kids to sleep, watching telly.
