Surabaya | Day 1 at Baobab Resort

 

It's the start of the mid year holidays!!! This coming June Holidays, we are bringing the kids on a short trip to Surabaya, flying via Jetstar.  1120am: Flight to Surabaya and approximately 130pm, we touched ground.

We had land transfer from the resort so it was a pretty smooth journey. 

Above: Kids at the resort hotel lobby area while their dad is checking us in. Inside the lift car, it is decorated in African theme! Time to check out our rooms. Hubs managed to book adjoining rooms. Single beds for the boys and king bed for me, hubs and Jade.

Each room has a basket of carrots to feed the resort animals. However one of our rooms the basket was empty. Housekeeping not so good afterall.

Both our rooms had balcony view towards the Savannah Animals i.e giraffes, zebras and deers!

4pm: Off to see elephant painting. I thought it was for the children to do some painting on elephants, ended it was to see how an elephant paint a baobab tree!

Dinner at the resort. Buffet style. There's a indomee station where you can choose your own instant noodle flavour, balls and vegetables. There's also a meat skewer section (satay) with lots of sauces.
