Breakfast at Legoland Hotel, Bricks Restaurant. There is a wide variety of food here. Pratas, bread, confectionery, cereals, big breakfast like sausages, ham and scrambled eggs. Fruits and juices. You wouldn't leave without a full stomach.
Their smiley hash browns sure put a happy face to our kids!
Always remember to take some family photos just outside the colourful castle looking hotel!
That's us, straight after entering Legoland. And the first ride is the roller coaster!
The Great Lego Racer. When we were there, there was no VR. But it was thrilling enough that Jade wanted to go again.
Next Up is the Aquazone Wave Racers. The boys and Hubs all went on it to race the waves and splash in the surf while spinning around with other racers. Jade and myself were by the sides as we weren't really into getting ourselves wet. There are huge buttons along the sides for pressing and exploding the racers with water bombs. The boys all came back with wet hair but they had loads of fun!
This ride is suitable for 4 years old and minimum height of 105cm.
BUILD & TEST!
The boys all tried their hands on building their own racing car with bricks. Even hubs had a go together with Jade.
After some building works, we went for a slow ride - Observation Tower and enjoyed a 360 degree view of Legoland. It was quite stuffy though.
Kids Power Tower. This is a manual ride. The boys pulled themselves up quite slowly while Jade had an easy ride up because Hubs was pulling her all the time.
Lego Studios - Time for some air-conditioning!!! Watch 4D movies with thrilling scenes and animated drama where characters comes to live once you put on your 4D glassess with larger-than-lift sound, wind, fog and lighting effects.
LEGO Ninjago The Ride. Oh, this one is quite tricky! I couldn't get it right most of the time. It is a 4D right and you act like a Ninja by controlling the elements of fire, earth, lightning and ice with just your hands. So you make knife like actions in the air . It is like some slayer thing.
Once out of Ninjago, we hopped on
LEGOLAND express. Enjoy a leisure journey through the main attractions of the Park. This has no minimum height, moves slowly. Just sit back and enjoy the ride.
Another manual ride where fitness, speed, coordination work as a team is crucial to winning! This ride puts a test as firefighter families and kids race to power a LEGO fire engine and save a burning building using hand-powered water hoses.
We climbed into these colourful airplanes and there's a joist stick for little ones to decide how high or low they want to blaze the skies.
Waiting time is the longest here, as all the little ones had to sit through a lesson before they can take the wheels of their own electric car and work their way around the LEGO city roads.
No minimum height restriction. Everyone can play.
OMG. It's time for lunch!
There's so much fun riding the DRAGON ! Enter the Dragon and ride a thrilling journey of twists and turns across the heights an depths of the castle, and past animated LEGO models.
Minimum height of 105cm and 4 years old. Specially for older children.
Little ones can sit the Dragon's Apprentice
Merlin's ChallengeClimb aboard the mystical carousel powered by a magical wizard and enjoy the spin of your life. (not quite). Still, since we are here, might as well try all the rides.
Another long wait at the Boating school. All my little sailors testing their navigating skills as they take control of the battery-powered LEGO themed boats through calm waters to their final port of call. The girls behind my boys were horrible drivers. They tried to ride backwards to delay their time in the waters and jammed up the whole circuit.
Jules' grandfather gave him $500 ringgit as birthday present for him to buy himself a Lego set at the store. Jules was super pleased, he kept hopping like a bunny in the store.
