Google 3D Animals
Some parts of the world have been under lockdown and the parents are having a difficult time to entertain the kids at home. Recently discovered is this really fun feature on google where you can use your mobile phone to google for an animal, for example: "LION".
Underneath the description of the animal, there is a "Meet a life-sized lion up close". Click on the "View in 3D" and you will be able to see the lion in your own living room!
And you are able to take pictures of the animals too!!!
And you can also resize the animals in your living room. So awesome yah!
Jules James and Jade | Play Room
Hubs was saying the other day that Jade doesn't really sleep in her room and the kids toys are piling up. So he decided to make use of our old ikea shelves from our previous home to set up a shelf to put all their toys.
Both Jules and James helped their daddy in erecting the shelves.
The ikea shelves are starting to take form.
Jade helped by putting all her toys onto the shelf.
James testing out the Play Room, but he is not playing!
He is actually doing some colouring work.

Jade | Dress Up!
Today is dressed up day for Jade who is going to visit her grandparents. She is wearing a green t-shirt from H&M kids, a mermaid sequinned skirt from Cotton On Kids and she is very excited. And on top of her little head, she has a ponytail with a frozen ribbon clip, matching the colour theme.

Jay Cooks | Chicken Soup with Shark Fin Melon
Friday Tea Break
Work From Home (WFH)
Suddenly I realised that I never really make a trip to the office pantry during office hours after lunch to get myself coffee or biscuits. I have mixed feelings of having a packet of cream crackers together with a freshly brewed cup of coffee. It is definitely way much better than the office coffee machine, but now the coffee beans are coming from my own pocket, together with a whole lot of bills - electricity for my laptop, lights and even aircon since the weather is getting unbearably hot.
And with this economic downturn, my boss has already started hinting on a paycut.

Jay Cooks | Teochew Mui with Braised Meat
It's Friday again. And I love Fridays because it is the beginning of a weekend!
Hubs cooked Teochew Mui with braised meat, tau kwa, fish cake, blanched vegetables and chai poh omelette. And for me, I always love my Teochew Mui with a cube of fermented tofu. Hubs finds it super smelly and salty. But I grew up eating this with my porridge so the taste to me is both reminisce and comforting.

March Holidays | Play Date
Eliz is Jules' Nursery Classmate whom we have kept in contact over the 3 years now. They still remain as really good friends! So when the school holidays are around the corner, we will arrange for play dates for the kids to catch up with one another either at a playground or at each other's place.
