Just to let everyone know that Taejongdae Park is not a theme park but it's like a really big evergreen park for walking, strolling and enjoying the scenic views along the coastal line. So it's really recommended for nature lovers!
First stop was breakfast at Egg Drop which was within walking distance from our hotel. Needless to say, their scrambled eggs were made to perfection and oh-so-fluffy!!! The kids totally ate up my whole sandwich.

We took a subway to Nampo station and got ourselves a cab to Taejongdae Resort Park.

When we arrived, we bought the train tickets and there was still some time before hopping on board. The weather was very windy and slightly chilly, so we bought a bowl of fishsticks for the kids to share.above: Jules James and Jade sharing their bowl of fishsticks..unfortunately one of the fishballs rolled away and Jade was so upset about it. We all had a good laugh though.

we decided to walk a part of the danube train route since the next stop was quite near.

we had a good 3 hours around the Park, breathing in lots of fresh cold air and it was truly refreshing. After visiting Taejongdae Park, we headed back to the city for last minute shopping.
macaroons for 1000won; so cheap!
Back to Gukje Market to search for dinner. The area is so huge, we just simply walk and discover on the way. I bought some hair pins for Jade for 1000 won each, they were so lovely and intricate! Easily in Singapore would have cost me $3 and above. So i was very pleased with my little loot that afternoon. haha.
We found a little stall serving local food like gimbap, mando, cold buckwheat noodles and such. They served free flow of tea too.
OMG, on the way back to our hotel, we decided to take a different route back and look what we found! A jokbal restaurant that was filled with locals!!! so we immediately thought to ourselves that it shouldn't be bad if it is full housed.
Tabao jokbal back to the hotel room for supper.. the kids where so happy!!!
Our trip to Korea were full of walking and lots of eating. A trip made with lots of happy memories and I hope everyone tries to bring their loved ones to Korea for some good Korean food and lots of shopping cos we totally love KOREA and especially Seoul!
