I simply love staycations because it shortens the travelling portion (flying can make me quite tired) yet I get a quick getaway from the hustle and bustle of home and the neighbourhood. And one of my favourite staycation is at Marina Bay Sands because of its lovely infinity pool, great services, locality and of cos because my kids love here too.
I checked in after work as my office is within walking distance. Hubs brought the 3 kids all by himself on a taxi, it's really convenient here in Singapore. Plus, if you are into apps, you can book a car via Grab or Uber.
We stayed overnight on a friday's night, slept quite late as we let the boys watch some cable movies. Morning arrived early and now we are all settled down for breakfast.
After breakfast, my father-in-law suggested that we all take a morning walk at the skypark observation deck. Guests at Marina Bay Sands get to visit the super view deck for free. Not hotel guests will need to pay a minimum fee of $10 and opening hours start one hour later for the public so guests can to enjoy the deck earlier and when it's not so crowded.

our hard to come by - family photo!
With children, it can be quite difficult to take a complete family photo.
after walking the skypark, we went back to our rooms to change the kids into their bathing suits. Jade is spotting a black and white toga swimsuit which I bought from COTTON ON baby. And she has a matching headband which I got online from Qoo10. Just google baby products and there will tons of links for baby headbands.I've changed Jade out from her bathing suit into a new star printed corduroy dress (from H&M baby) with a pink cardigan which I bought on a sale from COTTON ON baby.
hubs went to work and left me alone with the 3 kids. Jade is almost going to sleep here. That's how we usually spend our weekend with hubs attending to his clients and reno sites and me juggling with the 3 kiddos at home. Life is not easy but we enjoy what we do and we love our kids tremendously because they bring a different perspective on life.
We waited and rested in the hotel room for about 3 hours or so and hubs came back to join us for high tea.

There's quite a good variety of snacks to go around. Smoked salmon sandwiches, hot buttery mini beef pies, nonya kuehs, pandan chiffon cakes, tropical fruits, fruit juices, coffee and tea.

I had smoked salmon, charred grilled pork ribs, water crackers and gourmet cheese. Gave a breadstick to baby Jade to chew on and she did it pretty well!
even Baby Jade who didn't need to walk at all....KO.
