Jules #177 - Lunch at the Mussel Guys

Here we are celebrating Jules' turning of 3 months at Vivocity Mussel Guys.
Missed the mussels here, it's been quite a while since the last time we came here. They were having a lunch set promotion for $10.60++ where you choose from a variety of mains. The set comes with a soup - choice of garden green soup or pumpkin soup and choice of coleslaw or salad.

Both of us had the set lunch. My main was the Spring chicken while hubs ordered spaghetti bolognaise. He had the coleslaw which was super raw so he didn't eat it at all. My garden salad was great and the portion was good enough but hubs coleslaw was super puny!!!

Besides the set lunch, we ordered 500g of mussels, steamed. With every 500g of mussels ordered, there's a promo whereby you will receive 300g of mussels which we ordered it to be cooked in "spicy".

 although the spicy mussels were tasty, but the steamed mussels in white wine was simply delicious!!!
