Pepper Lunch | Christmas Origami Reindeers

Recently we had pepper lunch for dinner. It's currently Jules and James favourite dinner foodcourt meals. And they have come up with an origami christmas reindeer instruction!!! Basically you use their paper wrap which is commonly found around the hotplate which prevents the splatter of oil, and fold it into a christmas reindeer!

super cute. Instructions can be downloaded or viewed from the QR code found on the paper wrap.

It is super easy because even my 3yo Jade is able to fold it!

The Snowman Musical

Godma won 4 tickets to go watch The Snowman Musical at the Esplanade Theatres! And the boys and I are getting to go!!! YAY!

The story line is about a boy and his travels with his friend, the snowman. The boy gets to fly into the sky with the snowman, see dancing penguins, dancing fruits, meeting Father Christmas, evil Jack Frost and some ice princess???

Some parts are quite funny and amusing, there were sad parts too when the snowman melted when it was the end of winter. It's totally mimed. No voices from the actors and it's all about hand gestures, body language and sounds.

It was a wonderful experience for the kids because it's nothing like watching tv. They got to dress up, meet their godma, visit the theatres, keeping quiet in their seats and learning the proper etiquette in watching a musical. 

It wasn't as fantastic as the other musicals which I have watched - Les Miserables, Cats, Phantom of the Opera, Lion King etc, but I believe all form of arts should be supported!

DIY | Making Xmas Card for Godma

 Sewing a christmas star.

Lesson learnt - use a thicker thread to cover up the white parts of the card. I used a thin thread here so Jules had to sew several rounds to cover up all the white parts. Overall, it was a very good effort on his part!! Kudos little boy!

Jules | HAPPY BIRTHDAY ELIZ | Suntec SuperPark

Remember the birthday card which I just posted earlier? Well it's for Jules' girlfriend coming Birthday party at Suntec SuperPark! It's an indoor activity park just for children (or even adults) and you can celebrate your kids' birthday party there.

I was suppose to fetch Jules at 3pm but he kept requesting me to walk around Suntec and to pick him up at a later time so that he could play longer. In the end I picked him up at 5pm and it was my 3rd attempt at trying to drag him out of this indoor playground.

Jules and James - so happy, jumping and running around. Was difficult to get a picture of them together through a glass barrier.
