James - Performance at Nanyang Kindy

This year for James' class, they were told to come in a Malay Costume! As we had advance notice, so I begged my parents to take a trip down to Geylang Serai to find a malay boy costume for James. When my parents passed me the costume, I thought they would have bought a "traditional" malay colour like grey or purple...but it turned out red! WOW.

hmm, now I'm thinking of letting James wear his malay costume for Lunar New Year!!! hahaha...that would mean that I get a chance to recycle his clothes if not, when will he wear his malay costume again? It would be like never since we don't really celebrate Hari Rayas.

Anyway back to the National Day celebrations, hubs attended the performance and James was so cute in his costume!!! and the little children performed to the song of Rasa Sayang.

at the age of 3, I think all parents would be really proud to see their little children dancing and prancing along together.

Marina Bay Sands - Sibling Love

The night before National Day. The grandparents managed to get a room that has a view to the floating platform where the National Day Performance will be held. The kids are so excited whenever they get a chance to have a staycation.

Jade - Cruising

I'm a proud mama! Jade started crawling at 5th months and now at 7 months, she is cruising very well! See the step from our living to the kitchen, she climbs up effortlessly too!

DIY - Paper Towel Flowers

I used kitchen paper towels to make these colourful flowers for Jules' friend who has generously gifted him many little presents from time to time.

These are really easy to make and I got Jules to colour them with food colouring and I left them out to dry. After the paper flowers are dried, I used a wire to tie them up and voila, you will get these pretty ombre looking flowers.

James - Eating at Marche

The boys love going to marche and they love Marche's picky eater's menu too. We will always order one pizza and one rosti for the boys. The pizza is always crispy and flavourful, the rosti comes with a large sausage where the boys will share and devour quickly before they rush off to the playground.

And when they are back from their playground, they will slurp up their juices.
We love Marche...because while the boys are playing at the playground, hubs and I have some quality time together.
