Jules - One day from being a 10 month old baby!

Jules is really a cute baby, always giving a smile when I hold the camera to him!!!

Now at 9 months turning 10 months soon, he has mastered the skill of crawling quite well and can crawl up steps too, like the ones from my living to the patio and kitchen areas.

here comes Jules, taking his baby crawl.

Jules showing up his toothsome grin.
He has 5 teeth now, 3 at the top and 2 at the bottom.
Jules showing us that he can crawl and climb up a step.

His checkered blue green pajamas are from baby MUJI where we bought from Japan Tokyo.

Jules - Daddy's gonna make you a steering wheel toy

Jules: weee!!! i have a new toy?!?!?

hubs read online that there was this father who did a steering wheel toy for his son who loves wheels.

Lately, Jules is into those coin machine toy cars in shopping malls.
Whenever we walk pass one, he will point insistently at it and smile.
And if we let him play in it, he will keep turning the wheel on and on. He can go on forever! He simply is being entertained.

so what we do now. we eat first while helper feeds Jules.
We finished eating, bring Jules to the toy car while helper eats.
When helper finished eating, we all either go grocery shopping or window shopping or go home.

morale of the story.
Jules loves toy car steering wheel.
hubs loves jules.
hubs make toy. - use frisbee, a plastic box from IKEA plus a screw+washer and nut.
Jules plays toy.

verdict:
frisbee works well as steering wheel.
plastic box does not work well as car because too light and baby will pull it around together with wheel.

if possible, screw the frisbee to something more permanent.

DIY - Recycled Baby Bottle Project

here's my weekend project this sunday.
I've only collected a few baby food bottles because so far Jules has been eating home cooked food...and these were the exceptional ones where we went on a cruise trip and didn't have the luxury to cook for him to eat.

so, what I'm going to do here is dress up these blue bottles nicely for keeping my buttons and what-nots.
First, I have a can of white spray paint or any colour you fancy, the baby food bottles and some rubber animals.
here's a close up on the items.
and here's the complete look now with all the bottle caps sprayed white with the rubber animals on top.
will try to take a day shot of these bottles as natural lighting always looks best.

update!
