poor James, high fever. No, it's not Covid.

Life at Taman Serasi | Beautiful Sunday
Living here is quite different from Balestier where there is the hustle and bustle of city life. Over here at Taman Serasi, we see alot of greenery, yellow birds flying and open spaces. We bought a new rug from Ikea to lay it next to our Ikea Malm drawers. And I set up my little vanity corner by the window, something which I love to look at when I have the time.

Life at Taman Serasi
Our room is neater now. At least the kids normal everyday clothes are all settled in the Ikea Malm drawer. My shoes and bags in wire basket. I have a tall cabinet for my accessories and facial items. 2 door wardrobe for myself. One quarter of wardrobe for the kids' school uniform.

Wine down
Need a glass of wine. Shifting, unpacking, packing, travelling to and fro. Not an everyday task for me and hubs. No wonder, people hire people to pack their stuff into boxes and unpack into the cupboards.

2nd night at Taman Serasi
We are still adjusting to our new way of living as five in one room, sharing one common toilet and scheduling our toilet times and waking up times. The place is still messy and many things are left unpacked, inside our room and outside our room.

Shifting over to my mum's place!
Here we go again!
Our second make-shift home while we build our next home. Today, we are going to set up the boy's bunk bed and our master queen bed. Took hubs and the kids the entire afternoon setting up the bunk bed.
First configuration - bunk bed next to window with the study table such that the kids can get some natural light and our queen bed on the opposite end. Eventually, hubs is afraid of the kids being too close to the window without grilles. Safety comes first.
Second and final configuration - we swop the queen bed and the bunk bed with a bottom pull out bed. This mighty space saver bunk bed sleeps three! Swopping took us another half hour. Now my room sleeps five of us!

Wild Wild Wet
Breakfast at Heavenly Wang Cafe for some local coffee and toast. Next, we checked out and headed over the Wild Wild Wet. It was a super hot and sunny day. Despite slapping on several times with sunblock, the kids were still sunkissed. Spent the whole afternoon at Wild Wild Wet and had an early dinner at Hai Di Lao - our favourite hotpot restaurant that overlooked the waterplay.

Staycation at D'Resort
After our 1st stay at D'Resort, using our SAFRA member, it was quite a success! And so we managed to booked another night stay and this time, we bought our BBQ meat from Donki instead of ordering online. And we brought shitake and king oyster mushrooms ourselves for the BBQ as we had leftovers in our fridge. Separately we bought a quarter of a watermelon from NTUC. So it's really very convenient here in terms of amenities.
after the kids had their fruits and dessert, we let them have some fun playing with sparklers!
it was a wonderful night to get away from our messy home...currently filled with carton boxes and so much more to pack! *stress*
