Due to the recent rise in the number of cases of Coronavirus 19 in Singapore, there was a massive panic buy across entire island supermarkets. People were seen wearing masks, queueing to buy toilet paper, hand sanitizers, rice, canned food and instant noodles. All the shelves of the supermarkets were wipe out!
And all I wanted to buy was a loaf of bread for my kids' breakfast. But when I reached NTUC, I saw the massive long queue, I decided that my kids shall just have biscuits. It's crazy!!!
Fortunately, because it was over the Lunar New Year, I've already stocked up on my fridge and dry supplies, so I didn't have to go into a panic mode. Or rather, even if I had no food, I would make my way to the food market to buy food.
above: veg supplies from my fridge - broccoli which can last quite fresh in the fridge for up to 2 weeks. Frozen Ngor Hiang from my contractor, frozen otah (New Moon) which I always keep a few packets in my freezer, leftover mushrooms which I didn't get to use for CNY hotpot and roast pork...hmm, can't remember how i got it. I think it was from my MIL.

Hubs came up with this amazing idea - WII games to keep the kids occupied. And it worked. We spent the whole entire afternoon playing WII.
